New Delhi: Ghulam Nabi Azad, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and a former Congress leader, is expected to announce the name of his new political party today. After resigning from the Congress party, Ghulam Nabi Azad announced the formation of a new party. He stated that the public would decide on the name of the party. At the same time, he stated that our party will have a ‘Hindustani’ name.

Ghulam Nabi Azad announced on Sunday that the new party’s name and flag have been finalised. A new party will write a new chapter in Jammu and Kashmir politics.

According to the information, Ghulam Nabi Azad, before announcing the name of the party, will meet with the leaders and colleagues who have joined his new party today. Former Deputy Chief Minister Tarachand, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, GM Saroori, Abdul Majeed Wani, Balwan Singh, Gaurav Chopra, and Jugal Kishore are among these leaders.

Ghulam Nabi Azad previously stated that the party’s ideology will be similar to his name and that all secular people are welcome to join it. The majority of the senior leaders of the State Congress Committee Jammu and Kashmir have left the party to support Azad.

Earlier on August 26, Ghulam Nabi Azad resigned from the Congress party’s primary membership. Many top leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir Congress resigned after his resignation. Former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, as well as former ministers Majid Wani and Manohar Lal Sharma, are among them.

Along with resigning, Ghulam Nabi Azad had attacked Rahul Gandhi. In a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, he stated that the party has been on a downward spiral ever since Rahul Gandhi’s ascendancy to power.
