New Delhi: In Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh, a shocking incident has come forthe where a car was seen dragging a woman on its bonnet for over 500 meters. The alleged incident was recorded in a CCTV camera and the footage is now taking rounds on the social media.
As per the police officials, the incident occured near the main bus stand of Hanumangarh on afternoon of Wednesday. The video showed that passerbys who witnessed the incident ran towards the car asking the driver to stop but the latter did not listen. Instead, he sped the vehicle.
The video of road rage is attracting serious critcism as netizen are saying that the woman could have died.
Car Owner Denies Being There
The car’s number plate was traced and the owner was approached who denied being in the car at the time of incident. He said his brother had taken the vehicle.
It can be seen in the video footage that the car dragged the lady on bonnet on purpose as she tried to stop the vehicle. However, the victim has not filed the official complaint yet.
Woman, Driver Could Not Have Been Identified Thus Far
On the other hand, the investigation has been initated in the matter after the police took suo-moto cognisance in the matter. The police officials have informed that none of the elements, neither the woman nor the driver, could have been identified so far.
However, the video has been confirmed the police.
