Jaipur: Two Dalit men have been killed and another is in critical condition following a horrific incident in Ranasar village, Didwana-Kuchaman district, Rajasthan. All of the three men were riding on a same two-wheeler when they were chased by a Bolero car.
The two vehicles repeatedly rammed into the the bike-borne men resulting on the spot death of two men. Meanwhile, the third person is going under treatment as he was critcally injured.
A CCTV police recovered by the police showed that Dalit men stopped motorcycle at a hotel on the highway but then drove away due to crowds at the scene. However, they had attracted some attention by then.
As soon as they left, they were followed by men who ran over them with cars. The victim’s legs are believed to have been detached from the body.
Praveen Kumar Nunavath, Commissioner of Police, said: “We received information around 11pm that there were two to three men with serious injuries and lying on the side of the road. Immediately, our Home Station Officer (SHO) arrived at the crime scene and informed others of the incident. Two men died in the incident and their bodies were kept at the morgue. The injured person was transported to a hospital in Jaipur. It looks like this is a homicide and we are investigating the case,” he said.

Gyanaram Ranwa, BJP Kisan Morcha, Bikaner District Officer said, “Last night, a tragic incident occurred that resulted in the death of two innocent Dalit men. After news of this incident spread on social media, the whole community was shocked by this incident. Several people have gathered here to demand the arrest of criminals. We demand the immediate arrest of the criminals so that justice is served to the innocent Dalits.”
