Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot held a meeting with officials late at night regarding the Jaipur blast case. The CM has issued orders to terminate the services of the Additional Advocate General, who failed to effectively advocate in the Jaipur blast case in the High Court. The CM was ordered to file a special leave petition in the Supreme Court soon against the acquitted accused in this regard.

Along with CM Ghelot, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, Principal Secretary Home Department Anand Kumar, DGP Umesh Mishra, ADG-SOG Ashok Rathore, and ADG Crime Dinesh MN, were present in the late-night meeting.

The information about the meeting was tweeted by the CM himself. He said that overturning the 2019 district court verdict, the Rajasthan High Court acquitted all the accused. The intention behind it was that the state government would ensure the culprits got the harshest punishment. Therefore, the state government will soon file an SLP against the high court’s decision. The government will ensure justice for the victims by appointing the best lawyers.
