Hyderabad University: Blade And Worms Found In Food, Students Protest For Action

The students said they had complained many times about the bad food quality, but the authorities did not take any action.

Students at Osmania University’s Godavari hostel started a protest after one of them found a razor blade in the food served at the hostel. The upset students sat on the university’s main road, holding the curry vessel and the plate.

Students from Godavari Hostel at Osmania University in Hyderabad protested after they found a blade and worms in their food. The students blocked the main road of the university, asking the university to fix the problem.

The students said they had complained many times about the bad food quality, but the authorities did not take any action. This incident happened on Tuesday night when a student found a blade in their meal.

The protesting students shouted slogans against the university officials and demanded justice. They said the university was putting their lives at risk and wanted the Vice Chancellor to meet with them and solve their problems.

One protester said that another student had once found glass pieces in the food. He explained that whenever they complained, the canteen staff would apologize and promise it wouldn’t happen again, but it kept happening.

The students asked for quick action to improve the food quality and said they would continue protesting until their demands were met.
