SRH vs DC IPL Match: The Rachakonda Police on Friday issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth vehicular movement ahead of the IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals on 5th May. The match is scheduled to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal. Rachakonda Police has released an advisory and informed about the diversions through a post on X.
According to the Police, traffic diversions and restrictions will be in place from 4 to 11:50 pm on Monday. The advisory states that the curbs will apply to various heavy vehicles to avoid congestion. This includes dumpers, water tankers, lorries, Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) trucks, and all other types of trucks. Commuters are advised to plan their journey accordingly for a hassle-free journey.
Key Traffic Diversions Details
To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, several key restrictions and diversions will be in place on Monday during the event.
– Ramanthapur to Uppal: Traffic will be diverted via Street No. 8. The suggested route is Uppal X Road.
– Chengicherla, Boduppal, Peerzadiguda to Uppal: The Diversion point is decided opposite the Toyota Showroom. The alternative route suggested is HMDA Bhagyanagar Road towards Nagole.
– LB Nagar to Nagole/Uppal: Traffic will be redirected at the U-turn under Nagole Metro Station. Commuters are advised to travel via HMDA Layout, Boduppal, and Chengicherla X Road.
– Tarnaka to Uppal: The diversion point is Habsiguda X Road. The vehicles will be rerouted via Nacharam, IOCL Cherlapally.
NOTE: The Rachakonda Police Commissioner has urged “all citizens to take note of above mentioned route, dates & timings and plan their movements accordingly and co-operate with the Traffic Police.”
