Hyderabad: Heartbroken BTech Student Attempts Suicide Near Railway Station – Here’s How RPF Saved Him

Hyderabad: A dramatic event occurred on Friday evening when a B Tech student who was allegedly attempting suicide was saved by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). It has been learnt that the rescue, which came to light recently, saved the youth, identified as 23-year-old Raviri Jayavardhan Reddy, from the brink. The student was reportedly in emotional distress after a heartbreak.

RPF Spotted Him Lying On The Railway Tracks

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) spotted him lying on the railway tracks between Secunderabad and Lalaguda stations. The youth was saved moments before ending his life after the patrolling officers intervened. According to reports, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) J Kamalakar Rao and HC P Dhanunjay spotted him during routine evening patrols. Shortly after, the officers rushed to rescue him, thus averting a tragedy.

Student Was Suffering From Emotional Distress

An RPF official told TNIE that the 23-year-old was experiencing some emotional distress that resulted from a failed relationship. The incident serves as a grim reminder that one should consult family, friends, or a doctor before thinking of taking such an extreme step. Remember that bad feelings will go away, and that your death will only lead to agony for your close ones.
