New Delhi: A 5-year-old boy was mauled by a group of stray dogs here on Sunday. He was declared brought dead when he was taken to the hospital.
Gangadhar, the boy’s father and a security guard had taken him to his workplace and the dogs attacked him while he was roaming alone.
Responding to the issue, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao said they are trying to deal with the issue of dog bites in their municipalities. For this, he added, animal care centres and animal birth control centres have been established as well.
The minister also expressed grief to the bereaved families, “My sincere condolences to the family & we’ll ensure that our best is done so that these incident are not repeated: Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao .”

“Our biological waste disposal also needs to be upped. So, we’ll certainly do everything in our capacity. My sincere condolences to the family, I know I can’t bring back the child. I’ll do everything in my capacity so that this does not repeat again,” he added.
