New Delhi: A strange case has come to light in Sitamarhi district of Bihar. The wife, whose husband was in jail for her murder, was living peacefully in her maternal home in Nepal.
The incident is of Parigama village of Choraut police station area of the district. After getting information about the woman being alive, the police detained her from Nepal and brought her back to Sitamarhi.
Husband is serving sentence in murder case
According to the police, the woman’s husband is in jail for 6 months on the charge of burning her to death for dowry.
In the investigation of the police, the woman was found safe in her maternal home. After this the police produced her in the local court, where her statement has been recorded. In this regard, SHO Jitendra Kumar Singh told that Shashi Kumar, a local resident, is in jail in connection with the murder of his wife Hira Devi.

Case was registered 7 months ago
According to local people, Vinod Nayak, a resident of Ward Five under Matihani police station area of Mahottari district of Nepal, had lodged a complaint 7 months ago. In which it was told that his daughter Hira Devi was burnt to death by her in-laws. He accused his son-in-law Shashi Kumar, his brother Sanjay Mahato and mother-in-law Sumitra Devi of killing the daughter for dowry.
It was also told that they have burnt the dead body. In the light of the FIR, the accused husband Shashi Kumar was arrested. Here in the course of research, when the police came to know that he was alive, everyone was shocked. Hira Kumari has been found in her maternal home in Nepal.

At the same time, according to the information received from the family members of the woman, while returning after earning from outside, the woman was dropped by her husband Shashi Kumar at the Muzaffarpur railway station.
With her understanding, the woman reached Nepal to the relatives. It is being told that the woman is mentally deranged. He also has a one year old son.
