New Delhi: An angry wife along with her minor daughter brutally murdered her husband. The case has come to light from Sanjay Nagar area, under jurisdiction Madhuban Bapudham police station of Ghaziabad.
During the interrogation of the police, the accused wife Shalu told that her husband Amit Verma had an illicit relationship with a woman. There was frequent quarrel between them about this. It has been told that Amit used to make video calls to his wife during objectionable condition with his girlfriend.
Husband’s attacked with a heavy object on head
According to the information, 40-year-old jeweler Amit Verma, a resident of M-Block in Sanjay Nagar Sector-23, was attacked with a heavy object on his head. Amit’s body was found lying in his car in the early hours of Sunday. Traces of blood were found inside the car and around the crime scene. The police started investigation by taking the body in possession.
Police personnel spotted the car with the body
According to the police, Amit Verma had left the house on Saturday night saying that he would go to Saharanpur. In Madhuban Bapudham police station area, a WagonR car was found parked on the road in Kamla Nehru Nagar. When policemen went out on patrol at 4 am on Sunday they spotted the car. A youth was found dead inside the car, identified as Amit Verma.
Amit was murdered by hitting on head
According to the police, Amit Verma was murdered by hitting him on the head with a heavy object. Blood stains were also found in the car. Police took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
In the initial investigation, the police came to know that the deceased was related to some other woman. When the police interrogated the wife of the deceased, they found a contradiction in her words. On rigorous interrogation, he confessed to his crime. Because of her illicit relations with her husband, she had committed the murder of her husband.
Wife cleaned the house after murder
It is being told that after killing her husband at home, the woman had left the body in an unclaimed condition by putting the body in the car. In order to hide the traces of the murder, his wife and daughter had washed the blood-stained mattress and dried it on the terrace at night and also washed the stairs of the house.
