UP Crime News: A heartbreaking story from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, has come to light in which a man killed his wife for allegedly having an illicit connection. He then went to the police station and turned himself up.
‘I have killed my wife’
The event occurred in the Khurrampur locality in Gorakhpur’s Rajghat area, according to information. Sharadchandra Pal, who lives in this neighbourhood, murdered his wife Neelam. The woman had an unlawful relationship with a young man her son’s age, it has been revealed.

Pal murdered his wife to death before turning himself in at Rajghat police station. He stated to a police officer, “I killed my wife. Please arrest me.” There was a stir in the police station after hearing this.
Illicit relationship with 25 years younger boy
The police arrived at his residence right away to examine the situation, where his wife was found dead inside. The accused husband was then apprehended by the police. At the same moment, the body was taken into custody and sent for a postmortem.
During questioning, Sharadchandra stated that his wife Neelam was having an illicit affair with a 25 years younger boy. This was a frequent source of contention between them. According to the accused husband, he also complained to the police multiple times, but nothing changed.

There was dispute between husband, wife
According to the investigation, the husband and wife fought again on Wednesday, when the children were not there. The husband strangled his wife to death in a fit of rage. According to Rajendra Singh, station in-charge of police station Rajghat, the culprit confessed to his crime after arriving at the police station.
