Chennai: Many women are excessively protective of their partners. A shocking case of possessiveness leading to domestic violence recently surfaced in Tamil Nadu, where the wife suspected her husband of cheating on her. Following that, the woman poured boiling water on her husband’s private parts, resulting in the husband being taken to the hospital.

What exactly is the matter?

Thangaraj, a 32-year-old resident of Puduptu in Tamil Nadu’s Ranipet district, married T Priya, 29, seven years ago. They both have two daughters. Thangaraj is a supervisor in a mobile repair shop. Both of their lives were going well. However, the wife suspected that her husband was cheating on her, and thus, she committed a heinous crime on her husband.

Boiling water poured on husband’s private area

Priya, Thangaraj’s wife, was actually very suspicious. She suspected that Thangaraj was having an affair with a woman at his workplace. This caused frequent squabbles between the two. But Thangaraj was going about his business as usual. Thangaraj fell asleep on Tuesday night after a disagreement. Priya then gurgled water in the bathroom and poured boiling water on her private parts while sleeping. After that, he began screaming in agony, and his neighbours arrived home after hearing his agony. He was rushed to the Walajapet Government Hospital, where he is being treated.

Up to 50% of man’s private parts burnt

Thangaraj’s private part has been badly scorched by 50%, according to doctors, and he is being treated in the hospital. At the same time, the police have taken the accused wife Priya into custody, and the case is being investigated.
