Howrah: A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Howrah, West Bengal. Here, a husband and his wife engaged in a bloody game of relationships. The perpetrator murdered his mother, brother, niece, and brother’s wife. He then ran away. Pallavi Ghosh, the accused’s wife, has been arrested.
According to media reports, Debraj Ghosh fought with his brother Debashish Ghosh (36). Debraj then went to his room with his wife Pallavi. Debashish Ghosh, his wife Rekha Ghosh (30), their daughter Tiyashi Ghosh (13) and his mother Minati Ghosh (55) went to bed that night, unaware that it would be their last.
Mother was executed, as were members of brother’s family
Debraj and Pallavi went to the brother’s room with a sharp weapon while the rest of the family was sleeping. Devashish was sharing a bed with his wife and daughter. Debraj and his wife murdered the three of them in their sleep.
During this time, when the mother heard the scream, she also ran there. When Debraj saw her mother, he killed her as well. A large crowd had gathered outside the house in the meantime. Tiyashi, who was injured, ran outside and informed the neighbours. However, she died there.
Pallavi was arrested
Pallavi was caught red handed by her neighbours. Debraj, on the other hand, managed to escape with a sharp weapon. The police officers who arrived on the scene arrested her and are on the lookout for the accused husband. All police stations have been put on high alert. On Wednesday evening, the incident occurred (August 17). During interrogation, the police learned that the murder was motivated by a property dispute.
