Mumbai Police Conduct Security Drills Amid Festivals And Elections
Police described the operation as a security drill and did not comment further. “Given the ongoing festivals and assembly elections, we are conducting security drills at Crawford Market and other sensitive locations across the city,” said the officer.
At Chembur, a top officer inspected the security of a temple, while in Matunga, a temple was closed to devotees following a police inspection in the morning.
