Noida: After witnessing heat and humidity on Wednesday, Heavy rain was witnessed in many parts of Delhi. Due to this, there was a huge traffic jam in parts of Delhi as well as Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram because of waterlogging on Thursday morning. According to an IMD forecast provided on Wednesday, light rain or drizzle was expected to fall on the city today, and a yellow alert warning was issued for July 8.
The road outside the Noida Sector-16 Metro station, as well as the entire length going to Noida Film City, has been flooded as a result of the torrential rain that has been hammering the city since the morning. A heavy downpour in Noida has swamped the subway near the botanical garden metro station, impeding traffic flow in the area. Over the next few hours, many localities in Delhi and the NCR may experience light to moderate rain and gusty gusts with speeds of 30-40 km/h. The RWFC in New Delhi issued a ‘yellow alert’ for rain on Thursday. Today’s forecast is for mild to moderate rain or thundershowers, with the sky remaining mostly cloudy.
