New Delhi: A horrifying and chilling case has come to light from Bhagalpur district of Bihar where a woman was hacked to death in public with a sharp weapon.

According to the Police, the incident took place in the Pirpainti police station area of the district. A police official said that the police is probing the whole matter thoroughly.

According to the police, the victim Neelam Devi was returning from the market late in the evening and going back home with her son, when the miscreants already ambushed there attacked Neelam with a sharp weapon.

Frightened by the attack, the woman suddenly fell down, after which the accused chopped off her hands and feet. According to the information, the husband of the deceased woman has alleged that the accused attacked her breast.

‘Family accused two people’

Bhagalpur SP Baburam informed that they have arrested two accused in the matter. The victim’s husband said a man named Shakeel Miyan used to visit them often with wrong intentions.

After which, he was denied entry in their home. The police said they have been investigating the matter very thoroughly.
