Gurugram: A 28-year-old who was an employee in a financial firm in Gurugram was shot by his co-worker over an argument for the chair. The accused was charged with attempted murder and violation.

The victim was identified as Vishal, a resident of the Firoz Gandhi colony in sector 9. However, the accused was identified as Aman Jangra, a native of Hisar in Haryana.

Police said Vishal was critically injured and undergoing treatment in a privet hospital. Whereas Firozs was arrested and charged with attempted murder and violation under section 25-54-59 of the Arms Act.

Vishal stated in his statement that he walked out of the office on Tuesday after an argument with Jangra about the chair. The two had another heated argument over the same issue, after which Jangra allegedly shot Vishal from behind while he was walking down the street.

When the police learned of the incident, they rushed Vishal to the hospital and filed an FIR based on the victim’s brother’s complaint.

DCP East, Virendre Vij said, “The accused has been identified and we are conducting raids to nab him. He will be arrested soon.”
