Gurugram: The Additional Chief Secretary said that along with the procurement of crops in the mandis, their lifting work should also be regularly monitored so that space is available for the farmers to bring the crops to the Mandis and the crops can be stored on time. He also inquired about the impact of changes in the weather on the Mandis and gave necessary guidelines to the officers concerned with the procurement agencies.
In Haryana, the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Finance Department, and Administrative Secretary of Gurugram district, Anurag Rastogi, reviewed the progress of procurement and lifting of Rabi season crops in the district on Tuesday at the conference hall Mini Secretariat. DC Nishant Kumar Yadav informed the Additional Chief Secretary about the progress of work related to crop procurement.
DC Nishant Kumar Yadav said that 2,06,901 quintals of mustard have been procured so far in the district on MSP. where 3,12,63 quintals of wheat have been procured. On the other hand, 68 per cent of the lifting of mustard and 65 per cent of the lifting of wheat has been done from the Mandis. Mitu Dhankhar, Regional Administrator, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, apprised the Additional Chief Secretary about the market committee’s wise purchase and lifting.
On this occasion, ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, Sohna SDM Pradeep Singh, Additional Labor Commissioner Kushal Kataria, DFSC Anil Kumar, DDA Anil Tanwar and other officers related to procurement were also present.
