New Delhi: The police has arrested a constable in Gujarat allegedly for brutally killing his wife in Chhota Udepur town. The accused husband slit throat of his wife in a public bus.

Constable Amrit Rathwa’s wife used to work as a bus conductor. However, Amrit grew suspicion on his wife that she might be having an affair with some else so he planned the murder.

The couple used to have fights regarding this. Because of this, the soldier made a plan to kill his wife. Then as per the plan, he reached Chhota Udaipur from a distance of 200 kms. He stood here after going to Bhikhapur village on the way. He knew that the bus carrying his wife would pass through here.

Wife attacked as soon as she boarded the bus

Then as soon as the bus reached Bhikhapur village, Amrit got into it. He saw that his wife Manguben was sitting on the conductor’s seat. Amrit suddenly caught Manguben and slit his throat with a sharp weapon. Even after that, his anger did not calm down, so he attacked his wife’s body several times.

Seeing all this, the passengers present in the bus got down. Immediately the police was informed. Till then Amrit kept sitting near his wife’s dead body in the bus. Police reached the spot and arrested Amrit. At present, a case of murder has been registered against the accused. He is under interrogation.
