Noida: NMRC MD Ritu Maheshwari told that the RFP is being prepared on the PPP model afresh. The agency will run 25 minibuses on the PPP model and is instructed to issue an RFP soon for 10 buses to be purchased by NMRC. The buses are brought keeping in mind the traffic jams at Gaur Chowk and Ek Murti.
Earlier, Noida Metro had selected Turban Mobility Agency to operate the Metro feeder bus service connecting Noida and Greater Noida West. Before giving work to the company, Noida Metro probed the agency and found that they had no experience operating buses. For this reason, the tender for the company was cancelled. After this, Noida Metro issued a tender again, but no company showed interest.
NMRC officials told me that the corporation will not bear any financial burden in bus operation service on the PPP model. Along with this, it is necessary to have 24 seats and AC in small buses. Not only this, but the applying agency will also have to show experience operating buses in the city. Along with this, an app will also be prepared for the passengers, and through this, you will be able to book your passenger ticket easily.
