Greater Noida: CEO Ritu Maheshwari has given strict instructions to the senior managers of the concerned work circles to take action against illegal encroachments being carried out in the notified area of the Greater Noida Authority. Instructions have been given to the Bhulekh and Project Department to take immediate action on the construction work of illegally constructed shops on Khasra No. 390 in Surajpur. The shops that were sealed by the authority have reopened. Instructions have been given to remove these shops immediately.
About 50 new shops have been completed in front of the Surajpur Crowne Plaza Hotel. The people of Surajpur say that the officials of the work circle of the Authority have been cooperative in getting these shops constructed. From Surajpur Antipoint to Surajpur Golchakkar, hundreds of shops have been set up on the notified land of the authority.
During the visit, the CEO has given instructions to the ACEO of the authority that demolition action should be taken immediately after getting the police force. The CEO received a complaint that an industry is to be set up in Sector Ecotech-8. Soil is being mined illegally in this sector.
During the inspection in Sector Omicron-2, the CEO found that allottees have blocked the roads by placing building materials etc. on the roads of the sector. Senior Manager Work Circle-6 has been instructed to take action by imposing fines on those who put illegal building materials on the roads.
