Gorakhpur: A fire broke out in a moving Innova Crysta car on the Gorakhpur bridge. Dr PK Gupta, Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department officer and family 4 members were travelling in the car. Somehow everyone managed to get out of the car and save themselves. People around the incident were trying to control the fire but didn’t succeed they informed the fire brigade.

The police, who had the information, with the help of the fire brigade, controlled the fire in the burning car. The vehicle was completely burned to ashes. However, no one was harmed in the accident. At the same time, the reason for the fire in the car is said to be a short circuit in the vehicle.

After visiting the Gorakhnath temple with the family, Dr PK Gupta was going back to Lucknow around 7 p.m. in the Innova Crysta, the official vehicle of the department. He had just crossed the Gorakhnath bridge and was near the Tarang railway crossing when suddenly smoke started rising from the engine of his car. Seeing the smoke rising from the car, the passers-by on the road raised an alarm. Hearing the noise, Aman stopped the car and immediately took the whole family out of the car. Meanwhile, by the time people came out of the car, the car was on fire. However, before that, everyone came out safely.

Passengers immediately informed the police and fire brigade about the incident. Police and fire department vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control. However, the car was completely gutted in flames. All the family members in the car are safe.
