A good news is there for the people travelling in UP Roadways buses. According to the reports, by March 2025, 50 AC Volvo buses are scheduled to run from Morna bus depot in Noida. These buses will be luxury busses and apart from these, 12 sleeper buses will also run.

The routes for these AC buses have been finalized and sent to the headquarters.

As of now, passengers have the facility of only ordinary buses from Noida depot. Two Janrath AC buses with destination to Prayagraj and Lucknow used to run seven years ago, but they were terminated after private operators cited the losses.

As reported by Hindustan, UPSRTC Gautam Buddh Nagar, regional manager, Manoj Kumar informed that about a week ago, routes were sought from the headquarters for 50 AC Volvo buses from Noida depot. The routes have been prepared and sent. He said that apart from Volvo buses, sleeper buses will also be run. These will include six AC sleeper buses and the rest will be non-AC sleeper buses. The tender process is going on at the headquarters level.

All About These Buses, Fare, Routes And Timing

According to the officials, the route chart has been prepared but the fare has not been decided. It is informed that once the buses are received, the fares will be finalised.

Ordinary buses are available from Morna depot till 10 pm, but as of new initiative if 10 or more passengers reach the depot late night, then they will get the bus.

According to the officials, the AC buses will run for Haridwar, Rishikesh, Bareilly, Dehradun, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh.

While the sleeper buses will run from Noida to Lucknow, Ayodhya and Prayagraj.

At present the buses don’t run for Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh from Noida Depot. Passengers have to take the bus from another depots like Anand Vihar, Kashmere gate and Kaushambi to board the buses.

This way it’s going to benefit the passengers from Noida and provide convenience in their travel to these cities. These buses are expected to run by March next year.
