Noida: The e-rikshaw facility will start again on Wednesday between Sector 51 and 52 metro stations, Noida. It was stopped early as the skywalk construction was going on, but now that people are facing problems due to the hot weather, the Noida authority has started the rikshaws again till the work is completed.

New route due to construction

Now e-rickshaws will go from Sector-52 metro station in front of Hoshiarpur. From there, take a U-turn and reach Sector 51 station.

Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) kept 10 e-rickshaws running between the two stations. The walkway route on which e-rickshaws were plying is now being constructed by the Noida Authority, and due to this, the path is completely broken. Because of this, e-rickshaws have stopped plying here since May 24.

An NMRC spokesperson said that rickshaws will ply between the two stations on the new route starting Wednesday. Now, starting from the Sector-52 metro station, rickshaws will take a U-turn in front of Hoshiarpur and reach the MMR builder’s under-construction project on the other side of the Sector-71 underpass. From here, walking towards Sector-61 and taking a U-turn at the beginning, you will come towards the parking lot of Sector-51 metro station. Taking a U-turn from here, rickshaws will drop passengers in front of Sector-51 station.
