These pink booths have been set up near the Motorway in Noida, Cherry County Housing Society near the Gaur City intersection in Greater Noida, Pari Chowk in Greater Noida, and Sector-37 in Noida. These four places are crowded 24 hours a day, and a large number of women are involved. In an emergency, women will be able to contact the pink booth and ask for help. The police commissioner of Gautam Budh Nagar told me that each pink booth will be manned by a sub-inspector (Daroga) and at least four women. This project has been created under the “Mission Shakti” campaign of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
