Noida: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of Gautam Buddha Nagar and has handed over development schemes worth more than Rs 1700 crore to Noida city including four pink police booths. Gautam Budh Nagar Police has got these pink booths constructed in Noida, Greater Noida, and Greater Noida West. These four pink booths have been made while keeping in mind the safety of women. In these cases, women will get police assistance during emergencies.
These pink booths have been set up near the Motorway in Noida, Cherry County Housing Society near the Gaur City intersection in Greater Noida, Pari Chowk in Greater Noida, and Sector-37 in Noida. These four places are crowded 24 hours a day, and a large number of women are involved. In an emergency, women will be able to contact the pink booth and ask for help. The police commissioner of Gautam Budh Nagar told me that each pink booth will be manned by a sub-inspector (Daroga) and at least four women. This project has been created under the “Mission Shakti” campaign of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
