Dehradun: This horrific case from Uttarakhand is an illustration of the price a person may have to pay for getting involved with drugs. The victim, a 25-year-old man, became so engrossed in narcotics that the accused severed off his genitals and damaged his teeth.
Not only that, but he had a liability of Rs 80 lakh written against him, and was threatened with cutting his tongue if he told anyone. The Vasant Vihar police station has filed a case against the five suspects, one of them being a young woman.
According to Vasant Vihar in-charge Inspector Hoshiar Singh, Anita Rastogi, the mother of the victim Nilabh Rastogi, a resident of the Ballupur area, has filed a complaint with the police station in this regard.
As per the woman, Shoaib, Raju, Ankush Negi, Piyush Lohani alias Duggu, and Neha were her renters earlier. Everyone left her house six months ago. These five have been intoxicating Nilabh Rastogi for six months while living on rent and claiming friendship.
They also forced him to inject narcotics multiple times and offered him smack. During this time, they got a document signed by Nilabh in which he mentioned borrowing Rs 80 lakh. Based on this, the five accused began mentally harassing her son.

Not only that but the accused also removed portions of his genitals. Moreover, one day after Holi, all five barged into her house and severely battered her son, breaking four of his teeth. During this time, accused Neha searched the home and questioned about the jewellery kept there. While departing, they threatened to cut off the victim’s tongue if he told his mother.
According to the woman, the son finally informed her on March 14. The woman claims that the five are performing these crimes in order to take over her home.

According to Inspector Vasant Vihar Hoshiar Singh, a case has been filed against the five. Meanwhile, the youth has been instructed to seek medical attention. Following the receipt of the medical report, further action will be taken.
He further stated that because the victim is addicted to drugs, he is unable to provide an accurate account at this time.
