Una: Five people died after their car struck a pole and then overturned into the fields in the early hours of Sunday in Kuthar Kalan in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district. Two people died on the spot and three died on the way to hospital in Una.

Police had taken control of the bodies and sent them to Una hospital for the post-mortem examination, news agency UNI reported citing official spokesperson.

He said the car struck against the poll and fell into the fields as a result two died on spot and three on the way to hospital in Una.

Taking bodies into custody, the police have started the investigation in the matter.

According to the information, the Punjab number car collided in Kuthar Kalan village around 12.30 am.

Four of the deceased hailed from different villages of Una district, while one was a resident of Punjab’s Ropar district.

The two who died on spot are identified as: Rajan Jaswal and Amal. The other three died at the Una hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
