In a shocking case from Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli district, a wife murdered her husband in Urti village. The accused woman was apprehended by police and taken to jail. On February 21, the body of Birendra Gurjar of the village was discovered. The dead had injury marks on his throat and genitals.

In charge of the Kotwali police station, Arun Pandey stated that Kanchan Gurjar, the deceased’s wife, had filed a complaint against the unknown at the police station. Since then, the police have been working to solve this murder.

The police conducted a comprehensive investigation, questioning all suspects, including some close relatives of the dead. During this time, the police were also looking into the deceased’s wife. The entire affair came to light when the police brought the woman into prison and interviewed her thoroughly.

Kanchan, the deceased Birendra Gurjar’s wife, told authorities that her husband was a heroin addict when she revealed the murder. While he was intoxicated, he used to torture her a lot.

Kanchan, fed up, plotted to murder her husband and mixed 20 sleeping tablets into his supper on the night of February 21. The horrifying tragedy occurred when the husband drowned while sleeping.

During interrogation, it was discovered that the lady first attacked her spouse with an axe many times. She then murdered her spouse by stabbing him in the genitals with a sharp object.

Kanchan wrapped her husband’s body in garments and threw it on the side of the road after completing the crime. Not only that, but the accused woman also burned the deceased’s clothes and slippers in order to destroy evidence.

Kanchan Gurjar was the dead Birendra Gurjar’s fifth wife, according to the authorities. Before, four wives had left him after being harassed by Birendra. Kanchan, fed up with the harassing, murdered her husband.
