She was waiting for the office cab near the Kashmere Gate bus stand. Suddenly, two miscreants carried out the incident of robbery with her. Simran says that both the robbers came on bike and their face was covered their face. Apart from this they were also wearing cap on their heads.
According to Simran, one of the two youths was sitting on the bike. While the other got down and approached and stole their chain from behind by slapping their throats. Later both the miscreants ran away on the bike.
The surprising thing here is that this incident happened just a few meters away from a police booth located at Kashmere Gate. Simran says that she deliberately chose the same place to wait for the cab, as she felt safe there due to its close proximity to the police post. But this incident shows that criminals have no fear of Delhi Police.
