Rajkot road accident: In shocking incident, a girl riding bicycle was gravely injured after a policeman hit her with his car. The incident took place near Saurashtra University in Gujarat’s Rajkot district. The policeman was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

The bicycle of the girl student was badly damaged and the student was also injured. The passer-by immediately gathered at the accident spot to help the girl. The people stopped the car and forced driver to open the gate. When the driver opened the gate of the car, the people were shocked to see the policeman who is drunk and not in his full senses was driving car.

The people questioned the policeman, the policeman lit his cigarette and started blowing rings of cigarette smoke. He said sorry to the injured girl who was hit by his car. The cop called her sister. Later, the people called at 100 and handed over the drunk policeman to the city police.

In an another incident, the entire Gujarat on alert mode following the death of nine people in a Jaguar accident on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway. A campaign against over speeding and drink and drive is also being run by the police.
