New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will expand its range by constructing two new lines in Delhi NCR, Silver and Brown. The silver line connects north Delhi with Aurocity, which will be constructed in 2024, and the brown line connects south Delhi, which will be constructed in 2025.
The Delhi Metro Brown Line, which is shorter than other lines in South Delhi such as the Pink Line and the Magenta Line, is intended to provide connectivity within South Delhi. It is, nevertheless, linked to three metro lines: the Pink Line, the Magenta Line, and the Violet Line.
It is scheduled to be less than 8 km long and will begin at Lajpat Nagar. The Brown Line’s final station will be Saket G Block, which will connect the Brown Line to the new Silver Line, which is now under construction.
