New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police announced while tweeting that the traffic movement on Firni Road, Najafgarh, which goes from the Bahadurgarh bus stand towards Nangloi, will remain closed for the next 10 to 15 days as Power Works Department (PWD) development work is going on. The tweet states, "Traffic Advisory During peak hours, traffic will remain affected for approx. 10-15 days on Firni Road, Najafgarh in the carriageway from Bahadurgarh bus stand towards Nangloi due to ongoing work being carried out by PWD. Commuters are advised to plan their journey accordingly." Gautam Buddha Nagar traffic police issued advice on Monday directing heavy vehicles, notably freight carriers, to alternate routes in light of the Kanwar yatra. According to officials, the traffic diversion laws in Noida will be in force from July 4 to July 18. They further added that if the number of Kanwariyas in Ghaziabad increases, private cars will be diverted to these routes as well.
