New Delhi: The Delhi traffic police said some roads, including Bhairon Marg, are open for regular traffic movement after the flood situation improved in the national capital on Sunday.

As per the latest traffic advisory, the following road sections have been opened:

1 The Ring Road stretch from ISBT Kashmere Gate to Timarpur and Civil Lines (Mall Road side) is now accessible.

2 The Ring Road stretch from Sarai Kale Khan to IP Flyover to Rajghat is open for light vehicles.

3 However, the Ring Road stretch from Shanti Van to Monkey Bridge and Yamuna Bazar-ISBT remains closed.

According to the traffic police, the following changes have also been implemented:

1 One carriageway from Hanuman Setu to Salim Garh bypass to IP Flyover is now open. Commuters heading to Nizamuddin can use this route and take a left turn from IP Flyover to Vikas Marg via the Akshardham Setu loop.

2 Both carriageways of the Outer Ring Road from Mukarba to Wazirabad have been reopened.

3 Additionally, the old iron bridge at Pushta to Shamshan Ghat has been opened, but the ISBT Kashmere Gate remains closed.

Furthermore, in light of a high alert issued by the administration, the Delhi Traffic Police advises commuters to postpone their travel plans to low-lying areas.
