New Delhi: A 16-year-old was murdered on May 1 at Bijwasan Railway Station as one of the accused punched the victim, after which he collapsed. Delhi Cantt Railway Police arrested five accused, including a juvenile, within 48 hours of the crime.
The incident took place a platform no.1 at Bijwasan Railway station where the five accused and the victim got into a scuffle and the victim suffered internal injuries from blows of fists and succumbed to injuries.
Shortly after the alleged murder, police arrived on the scene and took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Accused Manish Kumar, a Bijwasanwas resident, was detained the same day. He confessed to the identities of the other suspects in the case while in detention. Following that, police raided various locations, including parts of adjoining Gurugram. The efforts were successful, and four more suspects, including a youngster, were caught.
