YEIDA’s Medical Device Park To Receive Investments From Abu Dhabi, Qatar And Dubai

Medical device Parks are being developed in the country to end dependence on foreign countries for medical devices. With their construction, medical devices made in India can be exported abroad.

Uttar Pradesh Yamuna Authority: The Medical Device Park, which is currently being constructed at Sector 28, YEIDA, spanning 350 acres, will now be developed over 500 acres. Under the proposed plan, land will be allotted to many companies for setting up units. According to YEIDA, the government has launched initiatives such as the Make in India campaign, special incentives for setting up manufacturing plants at medical device parks.

YEIDA CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh said that the Medical Device Park will be promoted in the India MedTech Expo 2025, scheduled to be held in June at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Around 200 companies are likely to participate in it. Meanwhile, to increase investment in the Medical Device Park, a delegation of the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices will visit Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Dubai soon. Sources revealed that many entrepreneurs from these three places have agreed to invest in the Medical Device Park.

40 Companied Have Registered

The headquarters are being temporarily operated in the YEIDA office, located in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Soon, it will be shifted to the administrative building in Sector 28. Companies are being given membership to strengthen the Promotion Council financially. So far, 40 companies have been registered.

Allotment Of land To 90 companies

According to CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh, in light of the increased inclination of companies to invest in the Medical Device Park, it will now be developed over 500 acres. YEIDA has allotted land to 90 companies in the Medical Device Park. One unit is ready to be operated, while 11 units are under construction.

India MedTech Expo 2025 To Be Held In June

India MedTech Expo 2025 Bharat Health is going to be organized in Greater Noida in June. 200 companies are participating in it. In June, a delegation of the Export Promotion Council will visit three countries to raise investment.

Representatives Of 45 companies Will Inspect

CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh added that India MedTech Expo will be organized in Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, from 4th to 6th September. About 500 exhibiting companies and buyers will participate in it. Representatives of 45 companies participating in the exhibition will inspect the Medical Device Park being developed in YEIDA.
