Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) plot scheme money refund provides an opportunity to people who wish to withdraw their applications. Under this refund process, the applicants can ask for refund of their deposited money if they cannot proceed further with the plot acquisition due to any personal reason. To initiate the refund, an applicant needs to submit formal application along with relevant documents. Refunds will be processed within specific time frame. Typically it is processed within less than 1 year after application submission. Through this initiative, YEIDA aims to provide full customer satisfaction by helping applicants to get refund smoothly and to ensure transparency in the process.
What Is YEIDA Residential Plot Scheme?
Launched by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority on July 5, 2024, YEIDA Residential Plot Scheme RPS-08/2024, gives chance to people to purchase residential plots in the Yamuna-expressway area.
The plots under this scheme come in different sizes, from 120 to 4,000 square meters. These plots will be available in sectors 16, 18, 20, and 22D. Plots would be allocated through a lucky draw to ensure fairness. As per reports, the expected price is around Rs. 25,900 per square meter. This area’s proximity to Jewar Airport and Film city makes it a better investment and most sought location.

How To Apply For Refund?
The whole process is online and to initiate the refund, applicants need to submit application, after the submission, they need to wait for at least 90 days to get the written acceptance by the authority. After the approval of application, refund will be initiated.
YEIDA refunds money for various reasons which includes unsuccessful applications, uncontrollable circumstances, voluntarily plot surrender and breach of application conditions. The authority refunds deposits plus 4% simple interest if the delay exceeds one year. People can also surrender their plots and get a refund with interest. However, if an applicant violates any conditions of application, their registration money is refunded without interest. It is also refunded without interest if the registration money is deposited less than one year before the draw. It is to be noted that interest rate on refund varies on the reason for refund.
