The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced a new residential plot scheme on Diwali 2024. This scheme offers people to buy affordable plots for residential purposes at premium locations in Noida. Reportedly, this scheme will offer 821 plots, located in vicinity of the upcoming Noida International Airport.

YEIDA has invited applications for allotment of residential plots and people can visit the official website, if they wish to buy the plot.

Important Dates

People can apply for YEIDA Plot Scheme Diwali online. The authorities have started the application process under the scheme from 31st October to 30th November 2024.  YEIDA Authority has scheduled the draw under this scheme on 27th December. As per reports, the authorities have gained positive response from citizens after releasing the brochure for 821 plots. The rate of the plots under this scheme is Rs 25900 per sq. metre.

Diwali Gift For Citizens

The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide a Diwali gift to citizens in form of an affordable plot. The authorities will focus on providing small plots for residential purposes only.

Plot Sizes And Eligibility

This scheme offers plots in four sizes which are 120 square meters, 162 sqm, 200 sqm and 250 sqm. There are a total of 344 plots available under sector 24a in Noida and 477 plots in Sector 18’s 9A and 9B block.

A person should be above the age of 18 years to purchase the plot.

All the eligible citizens can apply for plots under any category, however, those who have been already allotted residential plots of flats in any scheme won’t be eligible for allotment under YEIDA Plot Scheme Diwali. Spouses can participate in the scheme, but in case both of them are allotted plots, then, within one month of the date of allotment, one of the plots should be surrendered by the applicant’s husband or wife.

Required Documents

The documents required are Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, address Proof along with mobile number.

All the payment will be done through online mode on the website of Yamuna Authority.

Allotment Process

The allotment of residential plots under this scheme will take place by drawing the lots of plot numbers.

The draw for each category will be taken out separately.

Adjustment And Refund Of Amount

The applicant’s registration money will be adjusted against the total payable premium of the plot in case of successful application. In case the applicants or unsuccessful, the registration money will be refunded without any interest if the period of deposit of such registration money with the Authority is less than one year from the date of draw.
