Noida: The Gautam Buddh Nagar Health Department on Thursday issued guidelines in response to an increase in Covid cases, including using face masks in hospitals, malls, businesses, schools, and other public settings.
For workplaces, the guidelines directed the use of sanitisers, proper cleaning of offices, thermal screening at office entries, and work-from-home option for those who showing symptoms of cold, cough, fever, and flu.
The instructions were released as 114 additional positive cases of Covid were reported in the neighbouring Delhi and neighbourhood of Gautam Buddh Nagar on Thursday, bringing the total number of active patients in Noida and Greater Noida to 396. This is the highest number so far this year, according to government data.

Only 15 of the total Covid patients are now hospitalised, while 69 have subsequently made a full recovery. The data showed that 1,727 samples had been collected since Wednesday for examination.
