Woman Jumps To Death In Front Of Train At Delhi’s Golf Course Metro Station

Speaking to ANI about the incident in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ram Badan Singh said, "A short while ago, we received information that a 25-year-old committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at the Golf Course Metro Station."

A 25-year-old woman lost her life after allegedly jumping in front of a train at Delhi’s Golf Course Metro Station on Tuesday at noon. The incident caused disruptions to train services on the blue line.

Speaking to ANI about the incident in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ram Badan Singh said, “A short while ago, we received information that a 25-year-old committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at the Golf Course Metro Station.”

“Upon receiving information, police reached the spot. The body has been sent for a post-mortem. Further investigation is being done,” said the DCP.

After this incident, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) posted on Twitter that services on the Blue Line were delayed. Later on, they posted the update on their X handle when the service resumed.

Who Was The Woman?

Simmi, a 21-year-old graduation student from Bihar, working in a private company, tragically took her own life by jumping in front of a metro train at the Golf Course Metro Station. The incident left her family and relatives in shock.
