New Delhi: In the coming few days, Delhi-NCR will see the effect of humid heat while some drizzle. The humidity level could remain high due to the drizzle. As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), it is necessary for people to take care of their health in such weather conditions. They should keep drinking water to maintain the water level in their bodies. 

Humid heat can be more troublesome, especially on Thursday and Friday, forecasted by IMD.

Light shower increases humidity yesterday

As per official data, the maximum temperature on Wednesday was 36.1 degrees, which was two degrees more than normal. The minimum temperature recorded was 26.4 degrees. In the afternoon there was drizzle and light rain in some areas including Palam (2.4 mm of rain), Lodi Road, and Aya Nagar received light showers. This led to humidity levels in the air ranging from 59 to 90 percent.

Light rain Expected Today

According to IMD, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in DELHI_NCR on Thursday. The day will be cloudy. The department has forecasted, the maximum temperature can be 37 and the minimum temperature can be 27 degrees.

The weather will be dry on Friday i.e. August 18. The maximum temperature can be 37 and the minimum temperature can be 28 degrees. Whereas, from 19 to 20 August, the maximum temperature can be around 35 to 36 degrees and the minimum temperature can be around 26 to 27 degrees. 

The weather department predicted that there would not be any heavy rain in Delhi in the next few days.
