Ghaziabad: Woman assaults 79-year-old man in Panchsheel Society, arrested

Ghaziabad: A disturbing video has gone viral on social media, capturing a distressing incident in Crossing Republic’s Panchsheel Society on Wednesday. In the video, a woman can be seen brutally beating an elderly man with a stick, while others in the society try to intervene and protect him.

The shocking incident, captured on camera by some local residents, quickly gained traction on the internet. A concerned Twitter user even tagged the Ghaziabad Commissioner, urging swift action against the perpetrator.

The viral video shows the woman holding a stick and mercilessly assaulting the elderly man. Despite pleas from onlookers to stop, she continues the attack. The woman is seen fearlessly threatening to call the police, displaying a complete lack of remorse or concern for her actions.

In another video related to the incident, the same woman can be seen roaming around the society premises, still brandishing the stick. In a confrontational encounter, a man manages to wrest the stick from her grip. In response, she resorts to using abusive language and threatens to lodge a police complaint against the man.

Deeply disturbed by the heinous assault, the elderly man has filed a formal complaint at Thana Crossing Republic police station, seeking justice for the brutal attack he endured. The police are actively investigating the matter and are committed to ensuring that justice is served.

Meanwhile, taking cognizance of the matter, the Ghaziabad police launched a probe and subsequently arrested the accused woman who has been identified as Simran.
