There is a good news for commuters as UPSRTC is planning to enhance connectivity between Noida International Airport and 17 Western districts of Uttar Pradesh. The Corporation intends to do so by operating bus services between these areas. A committee of three Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) members has been formed for this. The committee is assigned to conduct inspection and prepare the route chart.
The proposal to operate roadways busses will be sent to the government for approval. Busses will start operating, once the permission is granted. This move will benefit commuters travelling to and from the Jewar Airport. It will ease connectivity between Western districts of Uttar Pradesh and Noida airport.

TOI report quoted Yamuna Expressway Authority officials who stated that the initial plan is to operate buses from Meerut, Baghpat, Shamli, Bulandshahr, Firozabad, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Mathura and Mainpuri.

The services will be later extended to Gurgaon, Rewari, Jhajjar, Panipat, Rohtak, Sonipat, Karnal, Faridabad, Palwal, Mewat (Nuh), Mahendragarh and Bhiwani.

Roadways regional manager (Noida) Manoj Kumar, who is a part of the three-member committee, said that the survey to identify the routes is expected to start after Maha Kumbh. He added that the survey will help to identify the type and number of buses to be rolled out.
