Traffic Woes For Commuters
The closure of the flyover at Daulatabad Chowk is set to impact commuters travelling from Sector 99 to 106 in Gurugram, Dhankot, Basai, and Kherki Majra etc. Commuters using this route to travel to IGI airport from Basai and Dhankot will also face inconvenience due to it. Moreover, traffic on surface roads is expected to increase further, adding to the traffic woes.
However, the NHAI has also announced an alternate route for commuters from Dhankot/Basai towards Delhi. They have been advised to use the service road and merge onto the main carriageway after Bijwasan toll plaza.
