A ban on the entry of goods vehicles – heavy, medium, and light was enacted by the traffic police on major routes during peak hours to facilitate smooth traffic movement. According to an advisory issued by the Noida Traffic Police on Wednesday, the restriction would affect the Noida Expressway and MP 1, MP 2, and MP 3 roads every day from 7 to 11 am and from 5 to 10 pm.
The officials stated that the decision aligns with the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) stage 1 guidelines enforced on Tuesday.
DCP (Traffic) Yamuna Prasad said in a statement, “The new restrictions took effect on Wednesday to address traffic congestion on key routes during rush hours. Previously, heavy goods carriers were banned during peak hours, while small and medium goods carriers were exempted. Now, all types of goods vehicles will face restrictions.”

Below are the specific areas affected by the new regulations:
- On Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, from Sector 14A flyover to Parichowk on both sides.
- From Udyog Marg 0-14A Flyover via Roundabout Chowk to Jhundpura Chowk Till Sector-11.
- From Udyog Marg 0-02. 03 Tiraha to Harola Chowk, Bans-Balli Market, Shivani Furniture Chowk, from Metro Hospital Chowk to 0-12.56 Tiraha.
- Tulsi Marg Atta Peer Chowk to Rai residency Chowk, DM Chowk Jalvayu Vihar Chowk, Modi Mall Chowk, Reliance Chowk to 0-54 Chowki Tiraha.
- MP-01 route DND to Rajnigadha Chowk from Sec-12, 22. 56 Tiraha to Sec-57 Chowki Chowk Khoda Tiraha, via Labour Chief to NIB Sector 62 and from Labour Chowk to JSS Tiraha CSC Tiraha, from PMO Cut to Sec 62 Mamura Chowk and Sector 57 Chowki Chowk to Sector 54. 59 Tiraha to Sector 60 Underpass Chowk.
- MP-02 Route (including elevated route) from Film City Fly-Over Tiraha to Nithari, From NTPC 60 Underpass Chowk to DS Group Tiraha.
- MP-03 Route- Okhla Barrage Bridge, Mahamaya Fly-Over, Sector 37, Shashi Chowk, City Center Metro Station, Sector 71 Chowk, Parthala Golchakkar to Kisan Chowk on both sides.
