Summer Relief For Students: Uttar Pradesh, Haryana Schools Announce Holidays Amid Rising Heat; Check Vacation Dates

Schools in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have announced summer vacations in response to rising temperatures across North India.

The Education Department in Haryana has declared that schools across the state will enjoy summer holidays. All schools will be on summer break from June 1 to June 30, according to the orders that were issued. At this time of day, students and teachers will experience some cooler temperatures. Schools will resume on July 1, 2025 and normal lessons will begin. The Education Department requires schools to follow the orders.

Since the summer heat has arrived in North India, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana are announcing their Summer Vacation 2025 plans for students. Both government and private schools have different vacation periods and senior students benefit from additional rules and summer camp activities.

According to the calendar, summer vacation for Delhi and UP schools commenced from May 11, 2025. Many schools in Uttar Pradesh have celebrated their summer holidays by closing. A few institutions will start their vacation from May 20 or May 21.

From May 16 to June 15, there will be no classes in Uttar Pradesh government schools which amounts to 26 days off. If everything goes well, schools will welcome students back on June 16. The schedule for private schools in the state will not be quite the same. From June 24, 2025, classes 11 and 12 will begin classes again and other classes will do so from July 1, 2025.
