Okhla Barrage – Yamuna Expressway: In a significant development in the Delhi-NCR region, a new highway project has been planned to connect Okhla Barrage with the Yamuna Expressway. The proposed highway would pass through the Hindon-Yamuna Doab and help ease traffic in the densely packed NCR region.
The highway will reportedly have either a 6-lane elevated or an 8-lane expressway on the ground level, thereby improving traffic movement and pollution. The project represents yet another timely response to the increased traffic demands concerning the public.
