A playschool founder in Noida Sector 70 was arrested after a teacher discovered a hidden camera in the school’s washroom, police said on Tuesday. According to authorities, the camera was found by the teacher while using the washroom. On December 10, she noticed something unusual in the bulb holder, which led to the shocking discovery.
How The Teacher Discovered Hidden Cam In the Washroom
After noticing a faint light in the bulb holder, the teacher suspected it could be a hidden camera and immediately alerted the school’s security guard, who confirmed the presence of the camera in the washroom. The teacher then informed the school’s director, Navish Sahay, and coordinator Parul about the discovery, but they allegedly took no action or responded to her concerns. When the teacher spoke to the security guard, he reportedly mentioned that the director had arranged for the camera to be installed.
Director Purchased the ‘Specific’ Camera Online
According to the police, Sahay confessed to purchasing the spy camera online for ₹22,000. The camera was specifically designed to be concealed in the bulb holder. He also admitted to using the camera to stream live footage from the teacher’s washroom directly to his personal devices.
The teacher also claimed that this was not the first case that she discovered a spy camera in the school washroom. Before this also she had found the camera and handed over to the director.
