Noida: Noida is witnessing a series of encounters between law enforcement and criminals, with the most recent one taking place in the vicinity of Police Station 39 area. During this incident, a confrontation ensued between the police and two individuals on a bike.
As a result, one of the miscreants sustained a leg injury due to gunfire, while his associate managed to evade capture under the cover of darkness. The wounded miscreant, identified as Naeem from Ghaziabad, has been apprehended and admitted to the district hospital for medical treatment.

Naeem’s Criminal Background and Encounter Details
Initial investigations have revealed that Naeem is a wanted criminal with a history of violent activities. He was notorious for his involvement in robbery and murder cases, and was on the police radar under the Gangster Act. The encounter unfolded when a police team was conducting routine checks near Sector-37.
Observing two suspicious individuals on a bike, the police signaled them to stop. However, the suspects attempted to flee by accelerating their bike. The police team pursued them, resulting in an exchange of gunfire initiated by Naeem. The police retaliated, injuring him in the leg and subsequently apprehending him. Meanwhile, his accomplice managed to escape during the chaos.

Investigation and Criminal Record
Naeem, the injured criminal, has a significant criminal record, with serious charges including murder. He was notorious for carrying out robberies across Delhi NCR. Reportedly, there are 20 cases registered against him, encompassing offenses such as theft, robbery, and murder.
Items recovered from the scene include a bullet bike, a pistol, live cartridges, and three mobile phones. Police are actively investigating his criminal history and connections to past criminal activities.
