Noida: Ahead of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah visit to Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory stating the routes on which the traffic movement will be affected on Friday.
Taking the matter X (formerly known as twitter), Noida Traffic Police wrote, “In view of VVIP tour program in Commissionerate Gautam Budh Nagar on 18.08.2023, traffic movement will be restricted on DSC road from Sector-37 to New Ashok Nagar Border and from New Ashok Nagar Border to Sector-37 from 11:00 to 15:00.”

Amit Shah will plant 4 Croreth sapling at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Group Centre in Greater Noida. He will also electronically inaugurate newly constructed 15 magnificent buildings of various types in 8 different campuses of CRPF.
Notably, the CRPF have planted more than 3.55 crore saplings collectively across the nation in a span of three years from 2020 to 2022. The collective target of planting 1.5 Crore saplings by all CRPF was set for the year 2023, taking the total sapling-plantation to 5 Crore which will be an exemplary contribution of the CAPFs to the overall environmental protection efforts of the nation.
According to the statement released by the Home Ministry, A timetable was drawn up on the appropriate species to be planted in specified sectors and a nodal officer appointed for the purpose.
“It was decided that as far as possible local species should be planted and at least half of the total plantation be constituted of long lasting trees with a lifecycle of 100 years or more. Besides, care was taken that medicinal and environment friendly trees be preferred,” the statement further read.

Utilize the following routes:
- For traffic traveling from New Ashok Nagar border, the recommended route is via Golchakkar Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, Attapir Chowk, Botanical Garden, and DSC Road. This will lead to destinations such as Chhalaira, Baraula, Bhangel, Phase-02, and Surajpur. Access to the Noida border can be gained from Kondli Delhi to reach the intended endpoint.
- If heading towards Delhi from New Ashok Nagar, consider the route passing through Surajpur, Phase-02, Baraula, Chalaira, and Sector-37. Further, travel through Botanical Garden, Atta Market, Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, Golchakkar Chowk, Shashi Chowk, Sector 31/25 Chowk, Spice Chowk, Stadium Chowk, and Jhundpura Chowk. To continue your journey, take the route via Kondli.
- In cases requiring emergency vehicles, they will be dispatched based on the specific needs to ensure their prompt arrival at the destination.
