New Delhi: A gang war took place in Delhi’s highly sensitive Tihar Jail on Friday evening in which gangster Prince Tewatia, 30, died in a knife attack.
As per the information, knives were used to attack him, and he sustained 5 to 7 deep cuts. Three more miscreants have also been injured.
This incident took place in jail number three at 5 pm. The charge of murder has been levelled against the gangster Rohit Chowdhary gang lodged in Tihar under MCOCA. The body of Prince Tewatia has been taken to DDU Hospital.
Delhi Police team has reached Tihar Jail. An investigation has been started into the matter. The injured prisoners are being treated under police supervision. A case has been registered against the accused at Harinagar police station.

Prince Tewatia was an accomplice of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Dawood of Delhi, Hashim Baba. His war of supremacy with the Rohit gang was going on for a long time. Prince has 15 cases registered against him in several police stations in Delhi including murder, murderous assault, and extortion.
Prince Tewatia was arrested in October 2021 by the Delhi Crime Branch after an encounter near Dwarka’s Metro. He got bail from the High Court till 15 September 2021, but he was absconding. He had submitted fake documents to the court in 2012 and 2020 and got bail.
